Club monitoring and evaluation The PRAGSAC team visited St. Martha’s Catholic Basic B school in the Central Region of Ghana during their club session.
The presentation which started at 12:05 pm was on “The importance of astronomy to Ghana. The pupils were curious and excited to learn about astronomy.
The PRAGSAC team took part in the Eratosthenes’s experiment March, 2019 (measure radius of the Earth using the sun’s shadow) with Jerremite International School, West Legon and Unity Baptist Academy School, Achimota Ghana astronomy club members in a worldwide experiment.
The “young astronomers” with their Patron CEPHAS completed the Prototype of the Radio Telescope in Kutunse, Ghana.
