Albert is the PAGSAC Team Leader and currently Mphil/PhD student at the University of Mauritius.
He is passionate about science education, especially among the younger generation under theme: ‘Promoting Radio Astronomy in Ghana through School visits and Astronomy Clubs’ (PRAGSAC).
He obtained Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the Regional Maritime University (RMU) Ghana, Certificate of Proficiency in Health,Environment and Safety. Was an electrical and electronics engineer at the Ghana Radio Astronomy Observatory (GRAO) with the Square Kilometer Array (SKA) control and monitoring Team as an intern at the Ghana Space Science and Technology Institutes (GSSTI ) at the Ghana Atomic Commission Energy and participated in the DARA basic training COHORT 3 2017/2018.
His passion as an engineer, he would like to obtain a postdoctoral research position in radio astronomy in instrumentation, and then to join an active engineering group and the academia to enhance the research scientist optimized their goals using their instruments by contributing to the science goals of the AVN and the broader SKA science community.
He strongly holds the faith that, “If You are working on something that You really care about, You don’t have to be pushed. The vision pulls You”. Your limitation is only your imagination.
