ByadminProf. Benjamin Stappers, a Professor of Astrophysics in the Jodrell Bank Center for Astrophysics(The University of Manchester) and Ahenkorah Duodu Kingsley a PhD student of the University of Leeds interacted with the PRAGSAC club members at Kutunse M/A basic 1,2,3 and 4 students today to inspire them about Radio Astronomy.
Initial presentation at Jerremite International School, West Legon.
ByadminPRAGSAC team members delivered the initial presentation on astronomy, radio astronomy, GRAO and its benefits to JHS 1,2&3 students in order to inspire the students to join the astronomy club.
The PRAGSAC team visited the Christ Church Anglican School in Cape Coast on the 9th August 2022 for the Astronomy in Ghana initial presentation.
ByadminThe presentation which started at 12:05 pm was on “The importance of astronomy to Ghana. The pupils were curious and excited to learn about astronomy.
