PRAGSAC in collaboration with the Department of Earth Science University of Ghana and Development in Africa with Radio Astronomy (DARA), presents the Fireside Skywatch Festival 2024.
Due to the relentless pursuit of modernization and the encroachment of light pollution; families, tribes, and communities who once gathered around firesides in the evening to marvel at the skies and learn from ancient African knowledge no longer do so.

The PRAGSAC team on Tuesday afternoon, July 26, 2022, visited St. Mary’s Anglican Basic School A in the Central Region of Ghana for the initial presentation visit.
