The PRAGSAC team on Tuesday morning, July 26, 2022, visited the Dormeabra Methodist School 2 in the Greater Accra Region of Ghana for the initial presentation visit.

The presentation started around 9 am. About 150 students and 5 teachers were present, including the Head of Dormeabra Methodist School 1. The presentation was on “The importance of astronomy to Ghana. The presentation was well received with a lot of questions from the students and teachers.

Prof. Benjamin Stappers, a Professor of Astrophysics in the Jodrell Bank Center for Astrophysics(The University of Manchester) and Ahenkorah Duodu Kingsley a PhD student of the University of Leeds interacted with the PRAGSAC club members at Kutunse M/A basic 1,2,3 and 4 students today to inspire them about Radio Astronomy.
