The PRAGSAC team met on 19th May 2022 for the instructors workshop at the Ghana Space Science and Technology Institute, Ghana Atomic Energy Commission, Accra – Ghana. Sessions:

The presentation started around 9 am. About 150 students and 5 teachers were present, including the Head of Dormeabra Methodist School 1. The presentation was on “The importance of astronomy to Ghana. The presentation was well received with a lot of questions from the students and teachers.

The PRAGSAC team took part in the Eratosthenes’s experiment March, 2019 (measure radius of the Earth using the sun’s shadow) with Jerremite International School, West Legon and Unity Baptist Academy School, Achimota Ghana astronomy club members in a worldwide experiment.
